DJ Tandu aka Ayla had his first big chart hit with his project “Intrance feat. D-Sign” and the hit single “Te Quierro” in 1993. This track went straight into the top 20 of the German single charts, which was an unbelievable step at that time. Just a short while later Tandu released his first solo debut on “Noom Records”, which was sold over 10.000 times on vinyl.

In 1995 Tandu started his project “Ayla”. The first single was called “Ayla” as well and it became a big club hit. In 1998 the single “Ayla Part II” followed and it went directly into the official German Sales Charts. Tandu produced this tune together with DJ Taucher and Torsten Stenzel. The next single was called “Liebe”, a remake of the classic tune of Cosmic Baby. This single went to the charts in Germany and several other territories again.

In 1999 Tandu remixes the first Ayla single and this remix went into the Top 30 of the UK single charts and it charted in several other territories worldwide as well. Since then Ayla aka DJ Tandu played all around the world at the biggest festivals and most important clubs.
