Before Tillmann Uhrmacher became a DJ, he already was an internationally chartbreaking producer. In 1989 he had his first #1 Hit in the German Single Charts with his project “Mysterious Art” and the single “Das Omen Teil 1”. Nearly 500.000 singles have been sold and the song quickly led the charts all over the world. Tillmann Uhrmacher did productions and remixes for the most famous acts of the early and late nineties such as Mauro Picotto, Judge Jules, Safri Duo, Marky Mark, Jimmy Sommerville, Inner Circle, Babyface, Culture Beat, Hot Chocolate and many more. He worked together with legendary pop producers, such as Frank Farian or Harold Faltermeyer. And only 23 year old Tillmann went on tour together with Madonna as her support act in 1990.
In 1990 he also started his radio show Maximal, which is not only the eldest radio show for electronic dance music in Germany today, but very popular nationwide as well.
Tillmann Uhrmacher released several successful singles and remixes within the years, including collaborations with other producers, such as Mauro Picotto. One of his biggest hits was definitely the single "On the Run", which entered all dance and hype charts worldwide on top positions and which finally went up to #16 of the UK single sales charts.
